OSHA Requirements

All pharmacies that provide immunizations must make sure they are compliant with OSHA. It is require that pharmacies who administer medications have an exposure control plan on file as well as a record or waiver of hepatitis B vaccine for all pharmacists giving vaccinations.  Also, all immunizers must review this document and complete a blood borne pathogen training every year.  The following documents will help ensure your pharmacy is compliant with the OSHA requirements.
